Welcome back to Blogmas day 8! I hope you guys are enjoying this series on my blog! If you missed my other Blogmas post, no worries, you can find them all linked at the end of this post! 🙂
If you know me well, then you know NARS is my go-to for high end makeup for so many reasons. I love the packaging, shades, products and the wear. Without further ado, let’s get into today’s review on the NARS lipstick in “Tolede”.
The price of this lipstick is $26 for one lipstick and I don’t find this a bad price point at all! Many high end lipsticks are in the $35 price point to put into perspective.
The packaging of this lipstick is so sleek and feels a bit grippy which is nice. I also love the square shape of the packaging so it won’t roll off of your vanity and get damaged.
The texture of this lipstick is so smooth and soft. I love the finish of this particular shade because it has a satin finish. Don’t worry it isn’t super shiny or to matte, that’s why I love satin lipsticks. 🙂
You can tell by the swatch that this has such a beautiful sheen to it and the color is a pink rose shade, so it’s perfect for daily wear.
How does it look on?
I think this shade would suit all skin tones because it’s the perfect nude shade without being super nude and it’s pinky without being extremely on the pink side.
It is not fully cruelty free because they sell their products in China. I wish they would just cut the ties so they can be fully cruelty free because their products are seriously amazing.
This product is definitely long wearing. You may have to touch up after you eat or drink a bit, but it’s perfect for a party or if you’ll be out for a while.
Ok, is it just me or does NARS lipsticks smell like Froot Loops? Lol
Would I recommend this lipstick?
Absolutely, it is amazing. I love the fact the shade range so there is seriously a lipstick for everyone and the color “Tolede” is seriously the perfect nude shade without looking like concealer on your lips. The price point is really good, the wear is awesome and the packaging is geniusly squared so it doesn’t roll off your vanity and damage your lipstick.
I hope you guys enjoyed this review! Feel free to like, comment, share and follow my blog for new posts every

Have you given this lipstick a try? What are your thoughts on it? Do you also think it smells like froot loops?
